This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to provide qualified paediatric first aiders with an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and practice key paediatric first aid skills every year until requalification training is required.

Intended Audience

The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (Annual Refresher) (RQF) course is intended for qualified paediatric first aiders wishing to refresh their skills and knowledge.

Course Overview

Throughout this 3 hour course, Learners will renew their confidence by practising essential paediatric first aid procedures, including: CPR, the recovery position, choking and more.

Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (Annual Refresher) (RQF) certificate as well as a plastic aid memoire, both personalised with the Centre’s details.

Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) certificate as well a first aid manual, plastic aide memoire, all personalised with the Centre’s details.

Time Limit

Learners must complete all assessments successfully within the registration period to achieve the qualification. The maximum period to achieve this qualification including any referrals is 3 weeks.
